The main services provided by BSI for this client included project management, automation, electrical engineering, and Instrumentation and Controls.

The main control system for this client is a Rockwell Automation ControLogix PLC, using the Wonderware System Platform.

With the various technologies necessary for efficient manufacturing and processing, many of the projects completed by BSI Engineering focused on updating and streamlining the programming for the client. The programming scope of work has included barcoding control of raw materials to the automation system. The BSI consulting engineering team has also completed SQL Server reporting of production data. This automation system is a full batch and formulation management system. The BSI team assisted with the establishment and training of the automation system to ensure the efficiency of production and manufacturing for the client.

Other projects for this consumer products manufacturing client have included arc flash studies, tank automation, and more. The BSI Engineering team has also provided various project management support efforts. Working with the client’s design and supervising team, the BSI team created plans for maintenance support during shut-down as well as automation projects to provide supporting control panels for a tank farm. Additional projects for this fabric care facility included updating existing control systems and various expansion projects.
