The Process

The capital cost for this project was $2.5 million, with the goal being to modify an existing production line to produce a completely different product than they had produced previously. This required a careful determination of the appropriate sizes of tanks, agitators, piping, pumps, and filters. The existing facility had space limitations, which meant part of our solution was creating an efficient equipment layout. A challenge that we were able to find the perfect solution for. We were able to complete this project within the owner’s budget and schedule expectations. The process started up very quickly and at the full production rate that was expected. This allowed the owner to deliver the product to their customer for a national rollout with no issues or delays. In fact, the owner was so satisfied with the end result, plans for a duplicate production line began immediately.
