Developed preliminary and detailed design for a waste water treatment process to include chemical oxidation, lime treatment, acid/base neutralization, and final clarification operations for discharge to the POTW. Included design deliverables for a permit to install and operate application to the local State EPA for this treatment facility.

 

Process design and specifications for reverse osmosis units for the treatment and reuse of process wastewater streams at various biofuel plants.

 

Specified reverse osmosis systems for four pharmaceutical manufacturing sites ranging in sizes from 50 to 150 gallons per minute processing flow rates.

 

Operational support on the Nitrification/ Denitrification wastewater treatment process.

 

New 80,000 gpd extended aeration, activated sludge AeroMod Waste Water Treatment Plant. Included lift station design, design of processes before/after package plant, permitting, and specifications.

 

Designed a wastewater discharge system intended to reduce the volume and chemical content of wastewater discharged to municipal authorities.

 

Operational support for an oily waste treatment and effluent discharge system at an oleo-chemicals plant.

 

Operational support for a process waste treatment unit including settlers, coagulators, lift stations, clarifiers, rakes, sumps, polymer addition system, plate and frame filtration system, and sanitary systems including lift stations, aerators, sand filtration, chlorination and effluent discharge at a plastics resin plant.

 

Analysis of polymer addition on solids reduction in a waste water effluent stream at an oleochemicals plant.

 

Responsible for the successful re-design of a 5,000 gallon processing system at a sulfonation plant.
